Stephen has spent over 25 years advocating for the rights of those injured due to the negligence of others. He has managed all manner of cases on behalf of plaintiffs from inception to trial – premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, trucking accidents, slip and falls on snow and ice, municipal liability, including escalator maintenance negligence, labor law accidents, medical malpractice, and Jones Acts (Maritime Law) cases. He has tried approximately 60 and obtained more than 30 jury verdicts, in Courts located in every county in New York and its surrounding suburbs, several in excess of seven figures.
He looks at every case from the perspective of the trial lawyer – what is needed to prove the case and reach a fully successful outcome for the injured client. With that in mind, he has had success in settling countless cases for full value without necessity for trial as the defendants come to realize that their chance of prevailing at trial would be slim.
Stephen is admitted to the bar in the State Courts of New York and the Southern and Eastern Federal District Courts of New York as well. He is a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association and was a proud participant in the Trial Lawyers Care project, representing families of victims of the 9/11 attack on our city.
In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis, spending time with his family, traveling, and believing with all his heart that the Mets will yet again win a World Series.
