Adam M. Wolk is the supervising attorney of the Liakas Law Trial Team. He is a passionate advocate who works tirelessly on behalf of his clients. Adam takes pride in preparation, in many instances working days, nights and weekends to prepare for trial.
Prior to Joining Liakas Law, Adam worked in the public sector as an Assistant District Attorney with the Brooklyn District Attorney’s office. In that role, Adam managed a long-term narcotics wiretap investigation that resulted in a 32 defendant, 300 count conspiracy indictment. Adam also prosecuted over a thousand criminal cases in New York State Supreme & Criminal Court during his tenure in Brooklyn. While at the DA’s office, Adam volunteered for community outreach whenever the opportunity arose, serving as a mentor for young students at the Brooklyn Eagle Academy for Young Men, and as a coach for local public school moot court teams.
Upon leaving the DA’s office, Adam gained extensive civil litigation experience representing defendants. After one year as a defense attorney, during which Adam obtained over 10 jury verdicts, he joined the Plaintiff’s bar. Mr. Wolk is admitted to practice law in the State of New York and in the Southern and Eastern Districts in Federal Court 2nd Circuit.
Prior to going to law school, Adam worked in film and television production in New York City, and as a fisherman and taxi driver in Montauk, NY. Adam lives in Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn with his wife Alex, dog Kevin and son Benji.
