Christina Kazepis brings a wealth of experience to her role as an attorney in the firm’s Workers’ Compensation Department, where she zealously advocates for injured workers in their claims arising from on-the-job accidents, workplace injuries, repetitive stress, wear and tear, occupational disease, and hearing loss. She passionately fights to get injured workers the medical treatment that they need and the monetary benefits that they deserve.
She has successfully represented a multitude of construction workers, union trades workers, route sales drivers, healthcare workers, and municipal employees, among others, and has skillfully negotiated resolutions and settlements in their claims, so they could move on with their lives.
Christina began her legal career at a prestigious plaintiff’s medical malpractice firm in New York City. After several years, she decided to get a different perspective and joined a prominent medical malpractice defense firm on Long Island, where she gained more knowledge of medicine and greater experience in evaluating medical injuries and analyzing damages in cases.
Due to her compassionate nature and her wanting to help others, she returned to the plaintiff’s side to work for a distinguished plaintiff’s negligence firm in New York City. She represented individuals suffering from serious and life-altering injuries resulting from auto accidents, slip/trip and falls, construction site accidents, and lead paint poisoning. She went on to work for a nationally recognized law firm known for its representation of injured individuals in mass tort litigations against major corporations that manufactured, sold, and marketed defective pharmaceutical and medical devices.
Christina next embraced working in the field of workers’ compensation law and protecting injured workers facing uncertainty after suffering from work-related accidents or conditions. Coming from an immigrant, hardworking blue-collar family, she found it rewarding to champion the rights of injured workers to obtain benefits in their time of need and to guide them through the challenges and complexities of the compensation process. She now dedicates her practice to representing injured workers at their hearings and to aggressively litigating and favorably resolving their workers’ compensation claims.
She spent a brief time working on the defense side of workers’ compensation claims, which has given her unique insight and has enabled her to anticipate the insurance carriers’ defenses and arguments in her clients’ cases.
Christina is caring, dedicated, and takes pride in being available to her clients, keeping them thoroughly informed and prepared, and honestly answering their questions.
