Cesar Herrera Campos is an Associate Attorney at Liakas Law, P.C., where he represents construction workers who have suffered serious injuries as a result of unsafe job site conditions. His practice focuses on claims under New York Labor Law §§ 240(1), 241(6), and 200, and he is committed to holding negligent contractors, owners, and companies fully accountable.
Prior to joining Liakas Law, Cesar served as a Public Defender in Bronx Criminal Court, where he represented clients in high-pressure, adversarial proceedings and managed a substantial caseload. In that role, he developed significant courtroom experience and the ability to quickly assess complex facts, anticipate opposing strategies, and advocate with precision and intensity. He brings that same urgency and litigation-driven approach to his representation of injured workers.
Cesar began developing his litigation skills in law school as a member of the St. John’s Defense and Advocacy Clinic, where he represented indigent clients in criminal proceedings and gained hands-on courtroom experience.
Cesar is admitted to practice in the State of New York. He earned his bachelor’s degree in legal studies from St. John’s University in 2021, and his Juris Doctor’s degree from St. John’s University School of Law in 2023.
