Digital Millennium Copyright Act Policy

Effective Date: September 30, 2019

Liakas Law, P.C. (the “Company”) is committed to complying with U.S. copyright and related laws. Owners of copyrighted works who believe that content accessible on or through www.liakaslaw.com (the “Site’) infringes their rights under U.S. copyright law may take advantage of certain provisions of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (“DMCA”) by reporting such alleged infringements to the Company. Copyright owners who believe that content on the Site infringes their rights should contact the Company immediately and report their concerns by providing notice to Company’s Designated Agent as required by the DMCA, Title 17 U.S.C. § 512. Such notice must be provided by email to Company at the following address:  DMCA@s883320434.onlinehome.us, but owners may also simultaneously send such notice to the Company via mail at the following address:

Such notice must include, at a minimum:

    (a)    a physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed;

    (b)    the identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;

    (c)    the identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material;

    (d)    information reasonably sufficient to permit Company to contact you, such as an address, telephone number, and, if available, an e-mail address;

    (e)    a statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law; and

    (f)    a statement that the information in the notification is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

For clarity, only DMCA notices should go to the Designated Copyright Agent; any other general communications should be directed to Company at: info@s883320434.onlinehome.us. You acknowledge that if you fail to comply with all of the requirements of this policy, your DMCA notice may not be valid.
