Chrisostomos “Chris” Hatzis serves as Of Counsel to Liakas Law, bringing more than 40 years of diverse legal expertise to the firm. A summa cum laude graduate of St. John’s University, Chris earned his J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law in 1984. His distinguished career spans plaintiff’s personal injury and medical malpractice litigation, as well as serving as the Attorney of Record for a prominent New York property and casualty insurer. This multifaceted background provides him with a unique perspective that strengthens the firm’s advocacy across multiple practice areas. Chris is a member of the New York State Bar Association and is admitted to practice in all New York State Courts, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
